Melaghar Town

Chaitra Sell is  one of the popular market sells in the town like all over the state. Every Bengali year at the last moment of month Chaitra ( চৈত্র ) every vendors starts to sell products in a huge discount and try to sell all the products in their warehouse so that they can give a new and fresh start at the time of new year. The markets in all over the town opens whole day till night time that time to receive good amount of customer. The market also becomes huge crowd and sometimes it's tough to drive a vehicle in the roads. Chaitra Sell 2017

Well, after running along the town it's normal to feeling hungry. The place is not known for best food and beverage options, but there are some hotels and restaurants that you may visit at least.  As my choice for good hotel, no. 1 is Sagarmahal Tourist Lodge at Rajghat , as this is popular for tourists and visitors. You can get great meal there. Debroy Hotel, another choice near Kalibari. Food and beverage both will you find there in suitable price. You can find more small hotels nearby motorstand , they have opened specially guests who came the town for roaming or works. At the evening the town goes for fast food, some famous fast food and restaurant is located around the market area with huge crowd. Melaghar   is one of the most important commercial town in Tripura as because the point is near to Bangladesh. Infront view of the school Melaghar Class XII School or known as Melaghar Boy's School is the most important school all over the town. Situated about 200 meters from netaji corner  is a Higher Govt. Secondary School. Nowadays the Boy's School name not applying because as some girls are also studying in the school instead of studying at there school , Melaghar Girls High School . Girls School seems doesn't have some education systems and qualities for the students after 10th standard, so they have to visit boy's school to continue their studies. There are currently  500+ students active in the school with an average of 80% presence. Teachers also present here with suitable ratio for the students. The school is affiliated to  Tripura Board of Secondary Examination . There is a field famous for activity sports, Sahid Kajal Maidan, locally known as Boy's field. Night View of the Mall Pal Mansion is a new Shopping Centre opened in Melaghar , near   Netaji Corner . The Mall is mostly famous for popular clothing items and it's designs. Ladies, Gents and Kids cloths are available here. Having good discounts most of time.  Maximum time having good crowd now it's the most viewed and popular Mall in the town because of it's new built. Netaji Chowmuhuni also known as Netaji Corner Or School Chowmuhuni, a local intersection situated middle of   Melaghar Town . It also called School Chowmuhuni because the famous school of the town  Melaghar Class XII School is situated nearby it and peoples have to go there through the intersection. The reason behind calling it Netaji Corner/Chowmuhuni is that, there is a statue of  Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at the middle point. A view of market Crowded Market during Chaitra Sell 2017 The main bazaar is situated along the whole main road, from Motorstand to nearby Ramthakur Ashram . Diveded into North, Central and South Market.  The market usually crowded all times; specially in Tuesday, because Tuesday is an important day for all the shop dealers as the day known as Market Day (হাট বার ) locally. Thursday shops remains closed as the day known as Close Day locally. All the regular using things found here in Market, from North to South.
